ARSS Manual
RTFM
ARSS is a straightforward, minimal, ( experimental ) rss aggregator.
It is maintained by xypnox.
Feeds
ARSS aggregates feeds globally.
Users can follow the feeds or add new feeds. Any new feeds will be added to the global pool. Users can also import urls from OPML files.
Users can browse the global feeds without following them.
Users can update their feeds to get the latest posts from the feeds they follow.
Feeds updated within 15 minutes will not be updated.
Home
Your home page shows the posts from the feeds you follow arranged in latest first. You can navigate to home page by using the ARSS link in the navbar.
By default the latest 15 posts from each feed are compiled together. You can browse all posts on the specific feed's page.
Posts without timestamp are shown at the end.
You can view posts in card or list view. Cards also show a preview of description/content if present. The heading navigates to the url of the post. The name of the feed navigates to the page of the feed in ARSS.
Individual Feed Pages
Each feed also has its own page. You can view the feed and its posts on the feed page.
Apart from the card and list view, you can also view the feed in a tree view. The tree is built by the url path of the posts. This way, posts from different sections of website are shown together.
